Due to a generous grant from The Libri Foundation, Bill Strawbridge, and Meg Wallhagen the Casselton Public Library received 86 new books. This was possible through a match in funds provided by the Central Cass Student Council as well as donations from Casselton Community members. The Libri Foundation is a nationwide non-profit organization which donates new, quality children’s books to small public libraries. The Foundation seeks to foster a love of reading in children at an early age and throughout their lives. Since October 1990, the Foundation has donated over $5.5 million worth of new children’s books to more than 3,000 libraries in all 50 states through the BOOKS FOR CHILDREN program. All of the books are now available for checkout so come in and see our new collection!
